Shetal Parikh

Shetal is honored to serve as the Director of Admissions, supporting families as they begin their journey with Carlthorp School. Shetal received her bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s in social work from the University of Southern California. Shetal has worked in education for over 18 years as a therapist, clinical supervisor, and most recently as the Director of Admission at Marburn Academy in Columbus, Ohio.

Shetal brings with her the unique skill set of her clinical expertise combined with a deep knowledge and appreciation for admissions work. Her goal is to make sure all families feel seen and heard throughout the admission process. In her free time, Shetal enjoys exploring the city with her husband and young daughter. She can be found either on the hiking trails or experimenting in the kitchen with new ingredients found at the farmers market.
